ONELGA Rally: Wike arrives
Governor Nyesom Wike arrives venueGovernor Nyesom Wike has just arrived to a warm reception in Omoku where the Chiefs, elders and people have turned out to welcome the PDP.
ONELGA is the first stop of the PDP which announced last week that it is set to campaign in all Local Government Areas of the Rivers State.
Our Correspondent reports that the rally is already in session.
Among those who have addressed the rally are the Director General of the Campaign Council and the Local Government council
Incidentally, ONELGA is the home base of Professor Ngozi Odu, Deputy Governorship candidate as well as that of the Director General of the Rivers State PDP Campaign Council, Chief Felix Obuah.
On arrival, Governor Wike accompanied by the PDP flagbearer, Siminalayi Fubara paid a visit to the Palace of the Oba of Ogbaland.

A cross section of the crowd that gathered in Omoku for the flag off of the rallyDetails of their conversation are not immediately available, but we have heard that Governor Wike told his host that he was in the Palace to pay homage.
He equally told the royal father that he was in his domain to flag off the campaign of the PDP.
Omoku, headquarters of ONELGA is already agog. The Felix Pavilion, venue of the rally is filled to the brim.
Governor Wike will be flagging off the Rivers PDP campaign any moment from now.
