Fubara raises alarm over social media accounts
● 3 unverified accounts identified;
● Fubara warns public of the development;
● Says he has only one verified account

At least four social media accounts bearing the name of Siminalayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State now exist on Twitter.
Out of the four, only one is the verified twitter account of the Rivers Governor. The remaining three have been set up by persons whose identities are unknown.

The existence of the various Twitter accounts all claiming to be official and verified, have raised eyebrows among netizens.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Rivers State, Siminilayi Fubara has warned that certain impersonators on social media are operating unverified accounts in his name.
The governor who took to Twitter on Saturday morning to express serious indignation over the development disclosed that he has only one verified account.
Fubara said in a disclaimer, “I have been inundated with reports of people impersonating me on some social media platforms.
“I wish to state categorically that I have only one Twitter account @SimFubaraKSC which is well verified.
He further explained, “any other Twitter account with my name or semblance of my name does not emanate from me.”
