Buba Galadima, an elder statesman, stresses a point while speaking on Channels TV Tuesday night.

Buba Galadima, an elder statesman and close associate of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso says President Muhammadu Buhari is the most hated Nigerian leader in history.

Speaking Tuesday night on a Channels TV  programme, ‘Political  Paradigm’,  Buba noted it was a good thing the former president had left the country, saying he could have had a heart attack as a result of negative reviews that are trailing his eight-year rule.

Whereas President Buhari acted as someone whose government had conquered all Nigerians, Galadima said Tinubu is approaching the task before him as a tactical and experienced politician.

He observed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has started well, but urged him to be a student of history and avoid the kind of pitholes that hurt Buhari and his team.

Galadima who said he gave Buhari a long latitude before deciding to launch a barrage of attacks on his dwindling government also referred specifically to the danger inherent in taking parochial, divisive, ethnic and religious oriented decisions in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and heterogeneous country.

He accused the immediate past Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje of running down public facilities in the State and defended some of the actions of the new NNPP government.
