Again, Tinubu Leaves For France
By PHC Telegraph
President Bola Tinubu has jetted out of the country amidst the increasing bloodshed and ethnic-driven violence that is currently being reported on the plateau. And the advent of unwarranted suspicions raised in some quarters due to the official relocation of FAAN to Lagos.
Tinubu who earlier received Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State in Nigeria left for France on a private visit today, according to the Presidency.
An official statement issued Wednesday by the Presidency signed by Ajuri Ngelale, the Presidential Spokesman said the President would be expected back to the country in February.
Whereas President Muhammadu Buhari spent most of his private time while in office in the United Kingdom, President Tinubu appears to have chosen France and its exotic capital as preferred destinations of choice.
As a private citizen, Tinubu seemingly preferred to travel to Paris, the French capital more often than other European capitals.
Recall that Tinubu retired to France soon after his electoral victory to pencil down names of those who are now serving as members of his team.
He has even attended a summit in France as President of Nigeria and met with President Emmanuel Macron to discuss issues of great interest to the two countries.
Thus far, Tinubu has not shown signs he has medical challenges, but it is possible that he may likely undergo checkups while in Paris.
