● As popular preacher and spiritual father turns 82

“I celebrate a remarkable milestone in the life of a man who has been a beacon of wisdom, faith, and divine guidance for countless souls across the globe”, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said of the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Adeboye who abandoned a striving career to found the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, and spread the gospel of God beyond the Nigerian border, has been marking his 82nd birthday.

Across Nigeria, throughout the world, leaders have taken to several social media platforms to celebrate the religious icon who has stayed to this day despite close shaves with death.

Sanwo-Olu who took to his wall on X to acknowledge the preacher on the occasion of his birthday spoke of the accomplishments of the spiritual father.

“Happy Birthday to a spiritual father, Pastor E.A. Adeboye”, the Lagos State Governor noted”, “Your relentless dedication to spreading God’s word and your unwavering faith have not only transformed lives but have also been a source of inspiration and strength to me personally.

“As you mark another year of God’s faithfulness, my prayer is that He continues to bless you with unwavering strength, profound peace, and boundless joy. May your days be filled with the same love and grace you’ve generously shared with all of us.

“Happy Birthday, Daddy G.O. Your light continues to shine brightly, guiding us towards a path of righteousness and love.”

“Pastor Enoch Adeboye is a respected religious leader who has guided many in their faith”, Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of the PDP said on X, formerly Twitter.

“As he celebrates his birthday today”, Atiku remarked, “I, along with many others, wish him more years of success in his divine assignment.”

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State in a statement acknowledged the contributions of the General Overseer of RCCG, saying he has impacted  the lives of so many.

“On behalf of the people of Ogun State, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to you on the occasion of your 82nd birthday. Your life and ministry have been a source of inspiration and blessings to millions of people around the world.

“As the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, you have demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the spiritual growth and development of your followers.

“Your teachings and guidance have touched the lives of countless individuals, offering them hope, encouragement, and a deeper understanding of the word of God.

“Your impact extends beyond the walls of the church, as you have consistently advocated for peace, unity, and socio-economic development in our nation. Your efforts to promote education, healthcare, and social welfare have made a significant difference in the lives of many.”

“The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye” former President of the Senate wrote, “has devoted his life to drawing people closer to God through his exemplary work on the pulpit.

Saraki also noted, “as he celebrates his 82nd birthday, my family and I, join millions worldwide, to extend our warmest congratulations.

“May the Almighty continue to bless Pastor Adeboye with wisdom, strength, and great health as he guides the RCCG.”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu pays tribute to the General  Overseer of RCCG, Enoch Adeboye at 82

Recall that President Bola Tinubu, in a statement on Friday signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale had celebrated Adeboye.

The statement stated that Adeboye has achieved “another milestone” and said the President “joins the Body of Christ in thanksgiving for General Overseer’s remarkable life of impact that transcends cultures and borders.”
